THE MAURITIUS CIVIL SERVICE MUTUAL AID ASSOCIATION LTD.

MEMBERSHIP
  1. Membership of the Association is open to persons holding a permanent and pensionable post with:
(i) The Government of Mauritius
(ii) The institutions listed below as approved by the Board.

2. How to become a member / shareholder of the Association?

The following documents are required for enrolment as member:
1. Original and photocopy of National Identity Card;
2. Original of latest payslip
3. Original pension certificate issued by Civil Service Family Protection Scheme Board (CSFPSB), Statutory Bodies Family Protection Fund (SBFPF)(applicable for Class C shares).

Letter from Ministry/Department certifying (applicable for Class A & B Shares).

  1. date of 1st appointment
  2. that applicant reckons permanent and pensionable service (P.P.E);
  3. salary drawn;
  4. that the employee is not proceeding on leave without pay and is not under report
5. Original letter of confirmation issued by the Ministry of Health in case the applicant is employed as a Health Care Assistant (applicable for Class A shares).
6. Original and photocopy of Bank Name and Account Number
7. Original of latest Utility Bill.

3. Other Information

A. Applicant should buy three shares costing Rs 330

B. Shares are sold from 8.45 a.m to 3.15 p.m

C. Applicants are requested to join the Retirement Savings Fund and monthly contribution to the Fund should be in multiples of Rs 50. Please refer to the Mutual Aid Brochure on Retirement Savings Fund for additional information. [Please note that contribution to the RSF would be deducted directly from salary of applicants].

N.B.: 1. Personal cheques are not accepted
